Atlanta Women’s Film Festival is a Global Powerhouse (And Why You Should Be There!)

When We Speak TV had the incredible privilege of attending the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival (AWFF) Opening Night at the historic 7 Stages Theatre. It was an evening buzzing with creativity, passion, and the energy of female filmmakers, directors, and writers who are reshaping the entertainment landscape.

A Celebration of Atlanta, A Beacon for the World

We spoke with Caroline King, the visionary CEO of Cinema Life and Director of the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival, who perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the event.

“The Atlanta Women’s Film Festival is really a celebration of Atlanta“, says King.

And the world is noticing. King proudly revealed, “We also have 35 countries represented, filmmakers from all over the world that are choosing Atlanta to showcase their films.” Think about that, women from across the globe are bringing their stories, their craft, and their passion to Georgia!

Why YOUR Next Film Festival Experience Should Be The AWFF

If you’re passionate about female-centered stories, supporting diverse voices in cinema, or growing your network within the Atlanta film industry, the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival is an absolute must-attend.
