On Friday, July 22nd, The Vision Community Foundation held its Annual Black Tie Gala at The Whitley Luxury Collection Hotel Buckhead. The gala was themed, Avant Garde Couture.
Jermaine Sain of When We Speak TV spoke with some of the VIPs like Real Housewives of Atlanta's Marlo Hampton and TV Personality Bevy Smith about inclusivity in television and media.
The exclusive gala honored an elite group of individuals and organizations that have made outstanding achievements in the arts, media, ministry, community service, and government arenas throughout their lifetime.
This year’s honorees included award-winning author and writer George M. Johnson, editor-in-chief and founder of Fashion Bomb Daily, Claire Sulmers; vice president of BMI, Catherine Brewton; media maker Darnell Moore, founder of The Quintessential Gentleman, Eric K. Thomas; Dr. Carl Highshaw, and Minister Ashton Reynolds.
